Storytelling
2009
Stories have been shared in every culture and in every land as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation and moral instruction. Historically, artists have occupied varied roles in this process. The artists featured in "Story Telling" each reveal elusive visual narratives to suit their own purposes. Metaphor, allusion, evocation, mythology, and syntax are dealt with in unexpected ways that compel the viewer to enter new mental territory. The exhibition is composed of artists working in drawing, painting, video, mixed-media and text.

Participating Artists: Elizabeth Roberts McFalls, Orion Wertz, Garry Pound, Danielle Mericle, Kip Deeds, Nate Larson, Michael McConnell and Mark Orange.
